Richie always made me feel welcome and he accepted people for who they are without judgements. He would try to make everyone feel happy and included. The most infectious smile, laugh and just this intense excitement for life and made even mundane things more fun. He loved his family, especially his cousins, he would do anything to protect the ones he loved. He worked hard, played hard and loved deeply. Richie is funny, always had a witty quip followed by his ornery grin, he would lovingly poke fun. He loved bonfires and had a great love for his big fluffy dog. Richie is a beautiful, kind-hearted person and friend. I will keep him in my heart forever.

After I read about Richie's recent death after just 23 way too short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Rogers and Langstaff family and friends. I know Richie has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) You are in my prayers.
