MUSCATINE, Iowa – Roxanne Lamb, 69, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

There will be no services per her request. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics Cancer Center in Roxanne’s honor. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Roxanne was born on August 3, 1954, in Muscatine, the daughter of Virgil and Alice Vandygriff Latimer. She married Norman “Tom” Lamb on June 1, 1973, at the Musserville Church in Muscatine. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year.

Roxanne was a Muscatine High School graduate of 1974. She attended Mulford Church as she grew up. Roxanne worked in retail all her life. She worked at Goodwill, Menards, and Blains Farm and Fleet where she later retired from.

Roxanne enjoyed crafting, painting, and thrifting. She enjoyed going to any dollar store within 100 miles with her best friend, Toni. Roxanne adored the time she spent with her grandkids, whether that was making ornaments or swinging on the patio swing. Most of all, she loved all her grandkids and spending time with her family.

Roxanne is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Toby Lamb and his wife, Elizabeth, of Letts, Iowa, and Jenny Lamb of Muscatine; grandchildren, Addison Honts, Asher Honts, Teagen Lamb, Elivia Lamb, and Alijah Honts; siblings, Virgil “Wayne” Latimer and his wife, Beth, of Walcott, Iowa, Georgia Reid of Muscatine, Helen Skubal of Muscatine, Keith Latimer and his wife, Judy, of Letts, Iowa, Charles “Eddie” Latimer and his wife, Tara, of Muscatine, and Mike Latimer of Muscatine; sister-in-law, Deb Estabrook of Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Steve Lamb and his wife, Nancy, of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers-in-law.
