Heather, I'm saddened by such a kind heart that heaven felt you needed to give you wings, isn't it strange how even when we were together at times, it seemed like we never had enough things to say or do or e even time just to spend speaking of all the hilarious stories about us ... I'm borrowed by you leaving but I'm sure you have wings to fly & look down here, & say oh... yah.. I remember that turd & crap on them.. it's what I'd do too Heather... giggles.. xxxhugsxxxx I miss you very muchos... & will love you for a long time Find peace, & forever fly with smiles & sparkles in your eyes. Xxxhugsxxxx xoxoGeo

Heather was born on February 10, 1987, in Muscatine, the daughter of Steven and Deborah Seright Boyd.
She loved her family and her cats very much! She liked anything out of the ordinary, such as gothic skulls and marched to the beat of her own drum. Heather had a big heart and would always put others before herself.
Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Odin Phillips and Alexander McGourty, both of Muscatine; her parents, Steven and Deborah Boyd of Muscatine; her brother, Christopher Boyd and Jenny VanWay of Webster; her sister Tabitha Story of Muscatine; her paternal grandmother, Frances Boyd of Muscatine; and several family members also survive.
Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Oscar and Berniece Seright; and paternal grandfather, Jack Boyd.
Heather, I just wanted to say you were a light in many lives and I wish your children and family the best during this tough time. I didn't get the chance to actually get to know you well but there are many times I do wish I had. You will be missed. Lots of love to your family.
