CHRISTINA BERG-BOLDT
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Christina 'Tina' Berg-Boldt, 66, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

There will be no visitation. To celebrate her life - be kind, have fun, stand up for yourself, and eat something decadent. Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Tina was born on March 28, 1953, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Louise Holko. She was the second of four children.

Tina graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Anthropology. However, it was her love of the printing industry that was her true passion. It started by working for companies such as ComCom and RR Donnelley and Sons in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania. After the death of her husband, Rick Berg, in 1997, she relocated to the Midwest and channeled her passion into training by working for the Graphic Arts Technology Center of Iowa. The true breadth of her creativity was on display as the driving marketing and design force behind two Muscatine stores, A Planet's Wild and Teddy and Friends, that she ran in tandem with her second husband, Jeff Boldt. After the stores closed Tina returned to training at Cobham in Davenport, and then embarked on a new path as an insurance agent and recruiter with Symmetry Financial Group.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Madelaine Berg, of Muscatine; sister, Teresa Stillman and her husband, James, of Lawrenceville, New Jersey; brother, Joseph Holko and wife, Ginger, of Allentown, Pennsylvania; and a long list of nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both spouses; and a brother, John Holko.

Dear Family, I worked with both Tina and Jeff on many projects. They were active member of the Muscatine Chamber promoting shop local initiatives, tourism, retail development and community building. They were always willing to volunteer and in most cases they came as a dynamic duo. May they both Rest In Peace. They are once again joined together. May you all have peace and and comfort during your time of loss.

Tina was a great advocate for Muscatine and spent many dedicated hours helping the Muscatine Convention and Visitors Bureau. She stood up for what she believed in and vocalized what she thought was the right course. A strong and independent woman. So sorry to learn of her passing.
