MUSCATINE, Iowa -James Maas, 75, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020, at Genesis East Hospital.

There will be no services at this time. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Adam. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

James was born on December 6, 1944, in Waterloo, the son of James and Ruth Stout. He married Linda Giessregen on November 1, 2008, in Muscatine.

James was a graduate of Muscatine High School. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. James enjoyed camping, motorcycles, and NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; two step-sons, Adam Bailey and Clifford Barnhart; one step-daughter, Lisa Truitt; and their beloved silky terrier, Sophie.

He is preceded by his parents.
