Helen Jackson MUSCATINE - Helen Grace Jackson, 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Geo. M. Wittich Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Parrott of New Hope United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at the New Hope United Methodist Church, following graveside services. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Helen Grace Jackson Memorial Fund. Mrs. Jackson was born on Sept. 25, 1918, in Moline, Ill., the daughter of Elmus and Cora Guy Day. She married Murray Allen Jackson on July 17, 1937, at Kahoka, Mo. She lived most of her life in Muscatine. She was a Cubs fan. She liked to watch the Wheel of Fortune and Days of Our Lives. She enjoyed to go camping and fishing. She retired from Heinz in 1976 after 19 years of service. Survivors include a son, Dennis Jackson and his wife, Jolly, of Colona, Ill.; three daughters, Patricia McFadon and her husband, Stanley, of Muscatine, Susan Martin and her husband, Larry, of Muscatine and Michele quot;Mick quot; Skidmore and her husband, Sam, of Muscatine; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Havel of Muscatine; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Day of California and Lela Day of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Floyd, Russell, Robert and Fred Day; and a sister, Dorothy Ricketts.
