PAUL C. GOETZMAN MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Paul C. Goetzman, 91, of Muscatine, died Friday, August 17, 2007, at Unity Hospital, Muscatine. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2007, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser Street, Muscatine, Iowa. The Reverend Paul Appel will officiate the service. Casketbearers will be Thomas Goetzman, John Todd Goetzman, David Goetzman, Dale Bringmann and Bill Reimers. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation as per Paul's wishes. Paul was born on October 16, 1915, in Muscatine, the son of William and Frances Heinzman Goetzmann. He married Shirley A. Bloom in September 1952, in Rock Island, Illinois. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2005. He ran the Goetzman Dairy for a number of years. He later owned and operated Havemann Vault Company and Juddy's Septic Tank Company for over 50 years. Survivors include his sons, Thomas Goetzman and his wife, Theresa, of Hiawatha, John Todd Goetzman and his wife, Melissa, of Muscatine, David Goetzman of Muscatine, and Bill Reimers of Muscatine; one daughter, Paula Bringmann and her husband, Dale, of Williamsburg; five grandchildren, Paul Goetzman and Matthew of Hiawatha, Jared Goetzman, Jacob Goetzman, and Jacey Goetzman of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three sisters and six brothers.
