SHIRLEY J. TESTRAKE
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Shirley J. TeStrake, 83, of Muscatine, passed away on November 24, 2021, at home.

Shirley was born on August 24, 1938, in Wilton, the daughter of Elmer Chris and Vera Margaret Harder Boller. She married Myron J. TeStrake on January 14, 1956, in Canton, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 2017.
Shirley enjoyed her many travels throughout her lifetime to Hawaii, Spain, California, Mexico, Tybee Island, the Caribbean and her many visits to see her family in Kansas City, Minneapolis, Georgia, Nashville, Colorado, and South Carolina. Shirley loved sports and watching her kids and grandchildren play. She enjoyed playing poker at the Missipi Brew, playing video poker at the casino, and reading. She loved to boat, water ski, and tube on the Mississippi River, Gull Lake, Norfork Lake and Mark Twain Lake.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Mark TeStrake and wife, Kathy of Muscatine and their children Tara Hamburg and husband, Matt, and their son, Dean, Jon TeStrake and wife, Sharon, and their daughter, Taylor; Marcy Gear of Muscatine and her children, Gavin Gear and wife Meghan, and their daughter, Cora, Jacob Gear and his fiancé Hailey Whitters, Miles Gear and Natalie Solis, and Meggie Gear; Matt TeStrake and wife, Kristi of Olathe, Kansas and their children, Ava TeStrake and Luke TeStrake; and Mia Dirks and husband, Monte of Eden Prairie, Minnesota and their children, Ani Dirks and Liam Dirks; and two sisters, Joyce Schroeder and husband, Gary 'Butch', of Muscatine, and Sandy Petersen and husband, Robert, of Atalissa.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Myron.
So sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. She was a beautiful and vivacious woman, a delight to know. You are all in my prayers at this difficult time.
