DeLee was born on June 25, 1943, in Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Adaline Saxon Dollman.
She enjoyed crafts, watching TV, spending time with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren, talking on the phone, and telling childhood stories.
DeLee is survived by her children, Larry (Andrea) Adams, Jeffrey Adams, and Scott (Theresa) Genung; nine grandchildren, JoDe (Joshua) Watson, Jordan (Dan) Duncan, Maggie (Marcel) Connor, Dakota Adams, Daniel Adams, Hudson Adams, Megan Timbrook, J.C. Meltzer, and Tory (Ashley) Meltzer; 18 great grandchildren, Reese, Tanner, Ralli, Chase, Athena, Liam, Braxton, Maverik, Rhea, Taralynn, Brayden, Avalynn, Brooklyn, Adam, Lydia, Bailee, Joslyn, Harper, and Bentley; and one brother, John (Esther) Dollman.
She is preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, William; grandparents; and very special cousin and life long friend, Nancy Frieden.
My sister in many ways was an exceptional human being. She was kind, thoughtful and I never knew anyone that disliked her.
We are 7 years apart and she had to babysit me periodically and I could be a brat. The one thing that was never in doubt was her love of her 3 sons and her grandchildren. Never a discouraging word came out her mouth.
I feel very blessed to have had DeLee as my sister and I will miss her greatly.
