MUSCATINE, Iowa - Stephen L. Stropes, 67, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at his home.
There will be no services at this time. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family, in care of Connie Hill. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Steve was born on March 6, 1955, in Salem, Missouri, the son of Karrol and Bernice Bryant Stropes.
Steve liked motorcycles. He enjoyed going camping and fishing.
He is survived by his sister, Connie Hill and her husband, Richard, of Muscatine, his niece Tabitha Strohm, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Madeline, Shirley, and Nancy; brothers, Larry, and Lanny; a brother in infancy; and a niece, Marcella Hill.
