JOHN WAYNE PETERS
MUSCATINE, Iowa - John Wayne Peters of Muscatine passed away peacefully in his sleep November 29th, 2022, at Pioneer Park, Lone Tree, Iowa. Burial will be in Wagner Cemetery.
He was born the oldest of six children on October 31st, 1945 to Ben and Helen Peters. He married Lanette Carlson on October 31st, 1964.
He is survived by two sons, John T. 'Tom' Peters and wife Kay, Michael W. Peters and wife Kerrie, and daughter Larissa Zahrobsky and her husband Tom; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernie Peters and wife Sue of Muscatine, and Danny Peters of Oakville.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; two sisters and one brother; and one great-grandchild.
