She was the best aunt. She called me often and I loved our chats. I remember traveling to Olathe to care for her after she broke her hip. We laughed so hard when the nurse got to her house and told me I had to give her a shot in the belly. I thought how I will do this, but we did it and had fun in the process. I will never forget you Aunt NeNe and you will never be forgotten. Love you forever!

Linda was born on November 3, 1945, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Roy Detwiler and Edna and Bick (Grump) Cowdin.
Linda enjoyed her time at the casinos. She loved spending time with her family. They were very important to her.
She is survived by her father, Bick (Grump); children, Derek (Marci) Showalter, and Kelli (Kevin) Knecht; five grandchildren, Samantha (Colton) Stacy, Levi Phillips, Lee (Hailee) Showalter, Katie Knecht, and Mazee Showalter; two great grandchildren, Berklee Showalter and Creed Stacy; and her siblings, Leroy (Ann) Detwiler, and Janice Berry.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Edna; one daughter, Angela Showalter; and one brother, Jamie Detwiler.
"Grump" Bick wants to say: I remember those cheerleader jackets were expensive.
She never got in any trouble, unlike Wormy (he said that with a smile).
She always visited me every week, and brought me piles of chocolate, and made sure I had everything I needed.
I miss her.
