FRANCIS "FRANNIE" WACHTEL
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Francis "Frannie" Lee Wachtel, 26, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at her home.

Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Burial will take place at Jacks Cemetery in LeClaire at a later date. Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Francis was born on December 25, 1996, in Davenport, the daughter of Francis Wachtel and DeAnn Lee Mizer.

Francis grew up in Princeton and graduated from North Scott Highschool in 2015. She looked forward to volunteering at the library. Francis enjoyed going to Bridgeside Links for lunch where she would go 2-3 times a week and enjoyed interacting with other customers children. She loved to ride the Muscatine Muscabus and even memorized the routes.

She was a very talented artist that loved the Ninja Turtles and enjoyed drawing them. Francis was an avid Denver Broncos fan and her favorite store was Lowe's. Her favorite song was 'Sweet Home Alabama'. She loved her family and was a 'daddy's girl'.

Francis is survived by her parents, sister Beth Kean; niece and nephew; two great nieces; maternal grandfather Floyd Mizer; three aunts; three uncles; and her cousins.

Francis is preceded in death by her grandmother, Marylee Mizer, and her paternal grandparents.
