RUTH ANDERSON
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Ruth Wilma Anderson, 97, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.
Graveside Service will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine. Chaplain Don Combs will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be made to the Providence Baptist Church, Drury Township, Illinois.
Ruth was born on January 17, 1926, in Muscatine, the daughter of Ralph L. and Esther Mae Weimann Fischer. She married Norman E. Anderson on November 25, 1955, at Providence Baptist Church, Drury Township, Illinois.
She enjoyed cooking, canning, freezing, baking, and collecting recipes.
Ruth is survived by her cousin, Charlotte Fleig; sisters-in-law Evelyn Hessman, Eileen Anderson, Donna Anderson, and Karen Martin; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, George Fischer.
