CHARLES 'SONNY' HARRIS
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Charles 'Sonny' Harris, 75, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Wapello Specialty Care.

There will be no services. Memorials may be made in his honor to his sister, Lois Slutts, and left at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Island Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.


Charles was born on August 4, 1948, in Muscatine, the son of Charles and Millie Louise Nicewerner Harris.

Charles had worked at Huttig and had worked with a few farmers with his sister, Lois, picking watermelons and cantaloupes.

Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting squirrels, rabbits, and ducks at the Big Timber.

Charles is survived by his sisters, Lois (Robert) Slutts and Vera Jane Schneider.

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant twin sibling; and sister, Mary Lou Harris.
