LUCILLE J. WINGERTER
MUSCATINE, Iowa - Lucille J. Wingerter, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Premier Estates of Muscatine.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Our Savior Lutheran Church. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Lucille was born on November 16, 1937, in Muscatine, the daughter of Morton and Annabelle Bumgardner Perkins. She married Michael Dennis 'Mickey' Wingerter on April 2, 1960, in Cambridge, Illinois. He preceded her in death on September 23, 2005.

Lucille was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards and loved to go shopping. She loved to dress like a movie star and had big white hair.

Lucille is survived by her sons, David Wingerter and wife, Sherry, and Daniel Wingerter and wife, Elsy Ban-As; 4 grandchildren, Paul Wingerter, Daniel Wingerter Jr, Shawn Phillips, and Amy Skidmore; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Ann Pelkie, Annabelle Hanks, Junior Perkins, David Perkins, Richard Perkins, Jim Perkins, Mary Gray, and Cindy Tetmeyer; many great-nieces and nephews; dear friends, Rosalie and Bud; and sisters-in-law, Bea Perkins and Judy Perkins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael; son, Dennis Wingerter; grandson, William Wingerter; and siblings, Kenneth (Katheran), Clarence (Margie), Allen, and Norman.
