ANGELENE GILLIAM
MUSCATINE, Iowa – Angelene Gilliam, 69, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the University of Iowa.

Angelene was born on December 1, 1954, in Windsor, North Carolina, the daughter of Alexander and Mary Rascoe Gilliam.
Angelene enjoyed crocheting, cooking, puzzle books, and fishing. She was a joyful person with a heart of gold, never hesitating to help people out. Angelene was big hearted and vibrant, and radiated light. She was never afraid to yell and keep everyone in line with her favorite quotes, “Just like that”.
Angelene is survived by her children, Jeffrey Gilliam and wife, Jessica, Gregory Gilliam and wife, Kelly, and Vanice Perrin; grandchildren, Gregory Jr., Nyaisha, Emani Mack, Jeffrey Jr., Lashay, Lulu, Josiah Perrin, Sariah, Gemiya, Ijon; and siblings, Edna Gilliam Richards.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
