AUDRENE LORENE BRADY

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Audrene L. Brady, 93, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at Pearl City Place, surrounded by family.

Audrene was born on January 21, 1932, in Henry County, Iowa, the daughter of Ada Wenger and Max Hulme. She married ‘Pete’ Cletus Kurriger in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1965. She later married Robert Brady in 1969. He preceded her in death in 1973. She raised her three children on her own.

She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. She was employed for 6.5 years with Department of Social Welfare in Muscatine and retired in 1983 from Thatcher Plastic Packaging after 24 years.

Audrene enjoyed dancing, square dancing, bowling, tennis, and watching sports on TV, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes.

She is survived by her son, Rod Kurriger of Muscatine; son-in-law, Joe Aull of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Joel Aull, Rebecca Stamler (Andrew), and Jessica Pearson; five great grandchildren, Abby, Lola, Jenna, Hayden Stamler, and Cameron Pearson; and her twin sister, Arlene Nelson of Muscatine.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert in 1973; daughter, Connie Susan Aull in 2021; and son, Brian Lee Kurriger June 4, 2025.
