AUDREY KROPF

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Audrey Kropf, 92, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Muscatine UnityPoint Hospital.

There will be no services. Burial will be at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Audrey was born on June 23, 1931, in Fredonia, Iowa, the daughter of Fay and Florence Brookhart Meeker. She married Floyd E. Kropf on June 25, 1949, in Cranston. They later divorced.

Audrey worked at Thatcher's and retired from Louis Rich. Audrey had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her yard daily and no weeds were safe with her nearby. She enjoyed going to thrift stores and yard sales. She loved going on day trips to see the countryside with Terri and Chloe. Audrey's greatest joys were her family and friends whom she loved and cherished spending time with.

Audrey is survived by her children, Rick Kropf (Ladonna) of Wapello, Scott Kropf of Conesville, and Terri Kropf of Letts; grandchildren, Lee Snyder, Sara Wehage, Chasity Davis, and Derek Kropf; great grandkids, Ashlyn, Cayle, and Emma Wehage, Ava and Toryn Davis, and Charley and Frankie Kropf; sister, Beverly Clark of Muscatine; and her beloved fur baby, Chloe.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Snyder; and brothers, Harlan, Donnie, and Charles Meeker.
