BART WILLIAM JACOBS

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Bart Jacobs, 63, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at his home.

Bart was born on September 14, 1961, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of George and Sally Jacobs.

Bart enjoyed gardening and being outdoors, classic country music, John Wayne movies, and Busch Light. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved his cat, Kitty-Kitty.

Bart is survived by his significant other, Patty Carter; children, Josh Jacobs, Misty Karzin, Tekea Garza, Brenda Carter, Sheena Gorehan, and Stephanie Wiebel; 16 grandchildren; and his best friend, Scotty Torrence.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jane Woeckener and her husband, Anthony.
