BEATRICE FERN DAYTON

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Beatrice Fern Dayton, 70, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Premier Estates.

Celebration of Life will be from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Muscatine American Legion Post 27. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Beatrice was born on May 4, 1954, in Iowa, the daughter of Alvin E. and Fern A. Janssen Storm. She married James Albert Dayton on January 4, 1975, in Columbus Junction. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1995.

Beatrice enjoyed collecting angels, crocheting, baking, and gardening. She loved her family and loved people.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Angela Brockert (Brian Lothridge); sister, Sue Calvin; sisters-in-law, Paula Strasser and Deb Storm; bonus family, Tammy Perez (Juan), Bladen Hart (Caitie), Rickey Reed, Roberta Solomon, Lynn Blodgett, and Pat Dummer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; son, James Dayton in 2021; significant other, Billy Wilson in 2020; brothers, David Storm in 2020; Jim Storm in 2016, and John Storm in 2007.
