BRIAN LEE KURRIGER

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Brian Lee Kurriger, 69, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his home.

Visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Brian’s honor to charity of choice. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Brian was born on October 19, 1955, in Muscatine, the son of Cletus ‘Pete’ and Audrene Hulme Kurriger.  

Brian attended Muscatine schools. He fought kidney disease his entire life.

Brian was an avid reader and avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He enjoyed playing games with his family and playing tennis. He adored his black kitty.

Brian is survived by his mother, Audrene Brady; brother, Rod Kurriger of Muscatine; aunt, Arlene Nelson of Muscatine; brother-in-law, Joe Aull of Muscatine; and nieces and nephews, Joel Aull of Muscatine, Rebecca Stamler of Muscatine, and Jessica Pearson of Cedar Rapids.  

He is preceded in death by his father, ‘Pete’, in 1965; stepfather, Robert Brady, in 1973; and his sister, Connie Aull in 2021.
