BRISON LEVI WILLITS

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Brison Levi Willits, 39, passed away unexpectedly from complications, August 23, 2025, at his home.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Susan. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Brison was born on March 3, 1986, in Muscatine, the son of Brian and Susan (Burke) Willits.

He was an incredibly talented metal fabricator, owning and operating Willits Metalworks Rod and Custom, LLC. for the past 8-years. His skills in welding, and hot rod restoration showed in car shows across the state and region, as well as projects showcased at the National SEMA car show. He enjoyed going to the races in Conesville to support Birkoffer racing as well as racing his S2000 at Cordova. An avid car lover and collector, his pride and joy was a 1949 Mercury he was lovingly restoring, bare metal, a testament to his deeply skillful welding. Through his interest in cars, he had a close group of like-minded friends, which culminated in many nights at his shop, talking cars and drinking beers.

Brison is survived by his parents, Brian and Susan; sister, Nicole (Nick Buonauro); uncles and aunts, Brian Burke, Edgar (Sue) Kublick, Robin (Glen) Suo.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Rosetta Burke, Jimmie Willits, and Marilyn Terhune; his aunt, Chris Gormley; and his best friend, Thor.
