Carol was born on March 3, 1943, in Muscatine, the daughter of Alice Jones Smith. She married Jack Hill on December 30, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Special thanks for her grandson, Drew Hill, and his wife, Mary, and their daughter, Oaklyn, for their weekly visits; and to her granddaughter, April, for her loving care.

Carol is survived by her three sons, Larry Keith Eggers, L. Doug Hill, and L. Dean Hill; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and five siblings, Gary D. Naber, Vickie A. Smith, Floyd L. ‘Dude’ Smith, Cindy J. Williams, and Steve S. Smith.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice B. Smith; stepfather, Floyd L. Smith; husband, Jack Hill; and brother, Randy Lee Smith.
