CAROL ANN STALKFLEET

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Carol Ann Stalkfleet, 83, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Genesis East.

Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Aleese Kenitzer will officiate. A private burial will take place at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Carol was born on August 24, 1942, in Iowa, the daughter of Clifford and Marie Louise Binggeli Pantel. She married Leroy Stalkfleet on June 26, 1960, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2020.

Carol was a member of the Moose Lodge. She attended a one room schoolhouse and graduated from Muscatine High School in 1960.

Carol enjoyed family genealogy, crafts, and crocheting. She was an avid Hawkeye fan and Bowl games, often watching games in her camper. She loved spending time with her husband, Leroy, whether they were dancing, traveling, or going to the casino and cruises.

Carol is survived by her two children, Brenda Stalkfleet and Bret (Christina) Stalkfleet; three grandchildren, Jared (Kelly), Jessica (Alek), and Nicholas; three great grandchildren, Klaire, Karter, and Karoline; and brother, Lloyd (Judy) Pantel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy; and sister, Jean.
