Carrie Ann (Creamer) Conway Obituary

CARRIE ANN CONWAY

MUSCATINE, Iowa – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carrie (Creamer) Conway on March 6, 2026, in Wilton, Iowa. She was a beloved wife, mother,  grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Pat Conway. Online Condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com

Carrie was born on December 22, 1972, in Muscatine, Iowa to Sue and Richard Creamer. She graduated from Wilton High School in 1991. She met Patrick Conway in 1989 working for Jacks Discount Store. They began dating in 1990 and married in Wilton on June 25, 1993.

Carrie leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to her family. Her smile and unconditional love touched the lives of everyone she knew. She loved crafts, creating gifts and making loving keepsakes for everyone. These thoughtful treasures were cherished by all. Carrie also enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing games, particularly Bingo in Muscatine with Peggy and at Old Threshers. Family trips to Riverside were also gleefully anticipated. Another great joy was the family trips to Old Threshers in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The shows and atmosphere were both relaxing and exhilarating. Whether making a day trip or staying in campers, she enjoyed it all. Highlights of these trips included the whistles at Old Threshers and the beautiful light from the Sparks shows at night.

Carrie was beloved as a para educator with the Wilton School District. She loved working with the kids and took great joy helping children in the I Block Program with the phonetics pronunciation of the words. She cherished her role helping and watching children improve themselves.

Carrie happily embraced her role as a spectacular grandmother. It was her newest life adventure and brought her endless joy.

Carrie is survived by her loving husband, Patrick, of 32 years; her adoring children, Carolyn, (Alex), Erin, and Grant; by her two precious and loved grandchildren, Zayden and Braelyn. She is also survived by her parents Sue and Gordon Manning; siblings Charity Rasmussen (Gene), Sarah Carter (Todd), Lanny (Rachel) Creamer, Richard and Peggy Creamer; many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard.

She will be missed and loved by all that are left to cherish her memory
