CINDY S. REIFERT

GRANDVIEW, Iowa – Cindy S. Reifert, 70, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at home.

A Celebration of Life will be at a later date. The Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made, in Cindy’s honor, to Muscatine Humane Society. Online Condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com

Cindy was born on December 29, 1955, the daughter of Robert Hatfield and Barbara (Martin) Hudson. She married Andy Reifert on December 23, 1986.

She graduated from Muscatine High School, Class of 1974. She enjoyed watching HGTV, loved her yorkie Midge, and enjoyed helping care of Andy’s dog Ridge. She loved laying out at her swimming pool soaking up the sun. Her granddaughter Shadyn was a joy to Cindy.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Michael ‘Andy’ Reifert; sisters, Tammy (Steve) Roth; Angie (Randy) Mueller; Sally (Tim) Hahn; grandchildren, Shadyn Kae Bishop, Rayce Anthony Carter, and Randyn Diane Carter; sister-in-law, Carolyn Reifert of Florida; special friend, Tanya (Monte) Grace; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Bishop Jr.; brother, Bret Hatfield; and infant brother, Robert Hatfield Jr.; maternal and paternal grandparents; father and mother-in-law, Ed and Mattie Reifert; and brother-in-law, Joe Reifert.
