MUSCATINE, Iowa – Cody Weig, 33, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at his home.

There will be no services. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Cody was born on January 9, 1991, in Iowa, the son of David Snyder and Sandra Parker Weig.  He married Shelby Sampson on January 9, 2012.

Cody enjoyed playing video games, walking and hiking on trails, donating blood, and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his son, Royce Weig and his mother, Shelby; his father, David Snyder; his mother, Sandra Weig; two siblings, Jake Weig and Kaylan Weig and significant other, Aaron Bush and their children, Sandra and Wyatt; his God Mother, Heather Bishop Davis; two uncles, Jake Parker and Robert Parker; and his maternal grandmother, Lois Parker.

Cody is preceded in death by his grandfather, Merle Parker; grandmother, Carla Lyon; and great grandparents, Jake and Emma Lawrence.
