DANNY DEAN ‘DAN’ KELLER SR.

MUSCATINE, IA – Danny Dean ‘Dan’ Keller Sr, 92, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Lutheran Living.

There will be a private family graveside service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the American Legion. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society. Dan was born on April 23, 1934, in Muscatine, the son of Loren O. and Viola Wisheart Keller. He married Wilma VanDyke on June 13, 1954, in Iowa. She preceded him in death on January 8, 2017.

Dan enjoyed restoring old tractors, his Saturday morning coffee with his buddies, and yard work.

He was the salt of the Earth and was a second father to many friends of his children. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Dan is survived by his children, Danny (Sherie) Keller Jr. and Lynn Keller; grandchildren, Kearstyn (Tyson Smith) Keller, Kourtney (Pete) Fox, Maggie (Marcell) Connor, and Maggie (Devon) Froehlich; great grandchildren, Kody Regennitter, Allyson Wacker, Noah Fox, Alivia Fox, Charlotte Fox, Rhea Connor, Rynn Connor, Jaxton Froehlich, and expecting one in October; siblings, Judy Hepker and Tommy Keller; and sister-in-law, Marsha Wilson.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma, and son, Tim Keller.
