DARLENE J. MASSEY

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Darlene J. Massey, 94, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Accura Health Care.

Darlene was born on August 1, 1931, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Art and Helen Barton Van Dyke. She married Lemuel Massey. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1992.

She had attended Mulford Evangelical Free Church, loved visiting with friends, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed attending bible study with her neighbors.

Darlene is survived by her three sons, Timm Massey of Eureka, California, Danny Massey of Muscatine, and Paul Massey and wife, Margo, of Mechanicsville, Iowa; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lemuel; and one brother, Art Massey Jr.
