A devoted husband, father, brother, friend, and entrepreneur, Dave lived life with passion, curiosity, and an unmistakable spirit. Dave was a successful real estate agent who co-owned ReMax of Muscatine with his brother Steve. He was also the proud owner of the Missipi Brewing Company along with his sister Mary, where his drive, creativity, and love for people shone through in everything he did. He had a gift for seeing potential where others might not, especially shown while restoring old homes, a passion that reflected both his craftsmanship and appreciation for history.

He shared a deep love of life with his wife, Stephanie Armstrong, and took great pride in his family. Dave is survived by his children: Skip Armstrong, Alex (Chenza) Armstrong, Emily (Nathan) Clester, Joree (Blake) Borchers, Briggs Miller, and Nathan Davis, each of whom carries forward his strength, humor, and adventurous spirit. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Lorenzo Maine, Cecilia Armstrong, Vincent Armstrong, Charlotte Clester, Lilliana Clester, and Grace Borchers as well as his siblings: LeAnn Wienke, Mary (Brad) Kisner, Sue (Al) Hilton, Steve (Jennifer Littleton) Armstrong and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Dave loved gambling, travel, and especially the city of New Orleans, a place that captured his heart and matched his vibrant personality. Whether exploring new places, working on a home restoration project, or enjoying time with family and friends, Dave approached life with enthusiasm and boldness. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his generosity, determination, and the unforgettable presence he brought into every room. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the homes he restored, and the love he gave so freely.
