DEBORAH LOBDELL

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Deborah Lobdell, 65, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Aspire of Muscatine.

Visitation will be from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at First Christian Church, 700 Kindler Avenue, Muscatine. Worship Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the church. There will be a gathering at the church after the service, to share memories with Deborah's family. Debbie was born on November 27, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne and Jean Licht Muhs. She married Michael Lobdell on September 15, 1978. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2021.

Debbie was a CNA for various nursing homes for many years and sold Avon. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Davenport and then became a member of the Faith First Community Church when the two churches became one.

Debbie enjoyed gardening flowers, cooking, and especially camping. She loved caring for other people and spending time with her grandchildren.

Debbie was an avid supporter of the Iowa Donor Network and she was able to give the gift of sight.

Debbie is survived by her children, Heather Rickey and husband, Jacob, and Christopher Lobdell; grandchildren, Kenadie Dengler, Wyatt Dengler, Austin Rickey, Aiden Rickey, and Hunter Lobdell; sisters, Sharon Perreault and husband, Jim, and Linda Cox and husband, Douglas; and son-in-law, Lee Dengler.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike; and daughter, Tiffany Dengler.
