DIANE ELIZABETH STYCH

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Diane Elizabeth Stych, 78, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Bickford in Moline, Illinois.

A private burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. The Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice, in honor of Diane. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Diane was born on February 20, 1947, in Muscatine, the daughter of L. Kenneth and Beatrice E. Vetter Coder. She married Ronald ‘Ron’ R. Stych in which they had two children and they later divorced.

Diane was a 1965 graduate of Muscatine High School. She worked at Headstart for several years.

Diane enjoyed gardening, plants, animals, and nature.

Diane is survived by her children, Amy Stych Lenz and her husband, Doug and David ‘Dave’ Stych and his fiancé, Julie; grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Carson, PJ, and Molly; five great grandchildren with another expected in April; nephews, Steve and Scott Coder; and sister-in-law, Linda Coder.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Douglas Coder.
