MUSCATINE, IA – Dolores Mae Foster, 90, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.

There will be a private burial in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. The Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
 

Dolores was born on June 10, 1936, in Muscatine, the daughter of Lawrence and Virginia Carlisle.

She was a member of the American Legion. She worked as a housekeeper at Geneva Country Club. Dolores enjoyed playing bingo with friends and going to Goodwill for a good find. She loved going to the casino, she always had luck on her side. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Dolores is survived by four sons, John Foster (Debbie), Jim Foster (Julie Danielson), Jeff Foster (Laura Hein) and Mike Foster (Suzette); grandchildren, Michael, Dana, Andrea, Tyler, Bryson, Adreanna, and Jason; great grandchildren, Chase, Nora, Jazmin, Javien, and Madrox; one great granddaughter on the way; and her best friend Belva Bishop.

She is preceded in death by John K. Foster; Bobby Martin; daughter, Christine; grandson, Timmy; parents; and grandpa, George.
