DON ELDON LAW SR.

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Don Law, 81, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at home.

There will be no services. The Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will take place at a later date, in Nichols Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com

Don was born on January 13, 1945, in Muscatine, the son of Gladys Nichols Wheeler. He married Karleen Donald on September 25, 1965.

Don was a member of the V.F.W., Post 1565 and American Legion, Post 27. He was also in the Motorcycle Club. He worked in many factories, and later years drove semi and teamed with his wife cross country before retiring.

Don enjoyed traveling with friends and family gatherings. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his wife and kids, along with camping and boating. He spent many winters in the motorhome in the South and loved to go grocery shopping.  

Don is survived by his wife, Karleen Donald Law of Muscatine; one son, Don Law Jr., and significant other, Cameron of Muscatine; five grandchildren, Thersa (Ron) Cook, Savanna (Brenton) Gray, Tiffany (Andrew) Hannah, Autumn Starkweather, and Harley (Trevon) Law; nine great grandchildren; and brothers, William Koepping and wife, Linda, James Koepping and wife, Debbie, and Dennis Wheeler and wife, Debbie.

He is preceded in death by his mother; daughter, Kimberley Law; daughter-in-law, Mindy Law; sister, Lela Law Shoppa; and special aunt, Beulah Blake.
