DONALD WILLIAM BLAKE

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Donald William Blake, 68, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Premier Estates.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Latter Day Saints Church, 2902 Lucas Street, Muscatine, IA 52761. Bishop Brett-Philmore will officiate. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery. William Havel will officiate. The Ralph J. Donald was born on September 7, 1956, in Muscatine, the son of Harold William and Betty M Preston Blake.

Donald was a 1975 graduate of MHS. He was a member of Latter-Day Saints, R.E.A.C.T, and Amateur Radio C.B Club.

Donald enjoyed playing cards with his friends from church, talking on his CB, and listening to music. He was an avid Hawkeyes and Muskie fan, often attending sporting events. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.

Those left to honor his memory are his siblings Linda Havel (Richard) and Gary Blake (Bonnie); and several nieces and nephews

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Edwards; nephews, Jim and Steven Blake and Scott Havel; and niece, Julie Ehlers.
