Born in Houston, Texas, Dorothy moved with her family to San Diego, where she met and married Thomas Rogers, a Navy seaman. The couple eventually settled in Muscatine, Iowa.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose strong spirit and warm presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, knitting, and dancing, and found joy in creating with her hands and sharing laughter with those she loved.
More than anything, Dorothy loved her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and nothing brought her greater happiness than being together with those she loved. Her unconditional love, strength, and caring heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Tom Rogers (Melody), Dennis Rogers (Lani), David Rogers (Thelma), Jody Wulf (Jack), and Mary Poole (Morgan); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and love she shared. She was truly one of a kind, and there will never be another Dorothy.
