EDWIN DAVID FREYERMUTH II

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Edwin David Freyermuth II, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at his home.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Calvary Church. The Wittich-Riley-Freers is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Edwin was born on October 25, 1953, the son of Edwin D. and LaVaughn Shoopman Freyermuth.

Edwin was a member of the Calvary Church and of the American Legion.

Edwin enjoyed traveling with the church, fishing trips to Canada, and camping. He loved having horses on the farm, wolves, and Ford trucks and Buicks. Most of all, he loved his cats.

Edwin is survived by his children, Troy Freyermuth, Stacy (Buddy) Bueno, Brandon Freyermuth, Josh (Dorothy) Kulp, and Shaunna Kulp; grandchildren, Zakary Freyermuth, Alexis (Matthew) Outzen, and Aliya Bueno; great grandson, Thomas Freyermuth; sister, Cindy (Steven) Allchin; several other stepchildren; nieces and nephew; and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin D. and LaVaughn Shoopman Freyermuth; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
