EDWIN REINIER

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Edwin Reinier, 66, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at home.

There will be no services. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Olivia. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Edwin was born on July 16, 1957, in Iowa, the son of Francis Leland Reinier and Delores Ann McCormick.

Edwin was a truck driver. He enjoyed antique collecting, playing cards, rock-n-roll music, and racing, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr. Edwin loved playing pool, spending time with friends and family, and was a great listener.

Edwin is survived by his significant other, Francis Mounts; children, Donald Reinier (Ashley), Miles Reinier, Olivia See (Brady), Jerry Reinier (Kayla), and Brittany Rhodes; stepchildren, Rachael Chamberlain and Austin Chamberlain; grandchildren, Daniel, Katelyn, Donald Jr., Tennessee, Willow, Gabe, Angel, Samantha, Christopher, Jazzmin, Jordan, Aiden, Cerina, Cydney, Keelin, Leland, Leah, Haisley, Damian, Sirius, and Dravan; great grandchildren, Dakota, Harley, and Baby James; siblings, Lisa Villegas, Shawn Honts (Amy), Raymond and Ricky Shank, Tracy and Deric Reinier, Hope and Kelli Smith, Kayla Smith, Randy Reinier, and Cal Reinier.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Mary Reinier; stepfather, Thomas Honts; son, Christopher Reinier; grandparents, Joe and LaVern; sister, Nancy Hooker; and brothers, Thomas Honts Jr., Donald Reinier, and Kenton Smith.
