GEORGIA MAE ALFORD

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Georgia Mae Alford, 67, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Lutheran Living.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society in honor of Georgia. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com

Georgia was born on July 14, 1956, in Puebla, Colorado, the daughter of Wesley and Francis McDaniel Reavis. Georgia was united in marriage to Larry Joel Alford on July 7, 1995.

Georgia was a good cook, she enjoyed bingo and taking drives with her husband.

Georgia is survived by her husband, Larry Alford, of Muscatine; her sons, Justin and Michael Wyllie; grandchildren, Jaden Wyllie, Oaklyn Wyllie, and McKoy Wyllie; and siblings, Norma Smith (Michael), Charlene Roberts, and Evelyn Burns.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
