JACQUELINE ANNETTE BEECHUM SCROGGINS

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Jacqueline Annette Beechum Scroggins, Sunrise February 21, 1954, Sunset June 10, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be from 11:00 until 4:00 p.m., on June 23, 2024, at the American Legion. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Jackie is the daughter of Margaret Wright Beechum and Vernon Beechum.

She graduated from Muscatine High School where she was crowned Homecoming Queen. Later she worked at H.J. Heinz.

Jackie enjoyed crocheting for her family and friends and collecting unique rocks from her travels. After moving back to Iowa, she has a daycare known as Miss Jackies Kids and everyone called her Ya-Ya.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, James and Eaithel Wright; brothers, Dennis Beechum, James Beechum; an aunt, Alice Peniston; and uncles, James Wright Jr., David Wright.

Jackie leaves behind her sisters, Elouise Lloyd, Cecilia Putney (William), and Deitria Beechum; sister-in-law, Sandy Beechum; and nieces and nephews, Kevin Lloyd, Tyler Lloyd, Brittni Lloyd, Baby Jasiah, Teneall Lloyd, Jose Martinez, Tenea Martinez, Thalia Martinez, Chase Putney, Alexis Putney, Seth Casel, Mariah Beechum, Courtney Beechum, Piper, Talon, and D.J. Beechum, Brooke Kalei, Jaleesa Hardwick, Kayden Carpenter, Wyatt Carpenter, Jordan Ruby, Laiah Avon, and Dachary Beechum.
