JAMES DEAN PHILLIPS

MUSCATINE, Iowa – James Dean Phillips, 62, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at his home.

There will be no services. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Maquoketa, Iowa at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

James was born on August 12, 1961, in Jackson County, Iowa, the son of James George and Edna May Baguss Phillips. He married Anastasia Palmer on February 14, 1999, in Muscatine. She preceded him in death on August 6, 2008.

James was a Muscatine High School graduate of 1979.  

James is survived by his sister, Teresa, and nephew, Chris Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anastasia; parents; and brother-in-law, Dennis F. Anderson.
