JANICE L. LANGE

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Janice L. Lange, 86, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Addington Place of Muscatine.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday January 23, 2026, at the Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., following the visitation, at the funeral home. Pastor Susan Bantz will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Janice was born on December 3, 1939, in Muscatine, the daughter of Albert Marty and Helen Ogilvie. She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1958 and married Dennis Lange on February 16, 1960, in Iowa City.

Janice was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she served in the senior choir for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and reading.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Lange and his wife, Sharon, of Carmel, Indiana, and Nathan Lange and his wife, Suzanne, of Petaluma, California; four grandchildren, Daniel, Alexander and his wife, May, Adeline and her husband, Andrew, and Jacob; four great-grandchildren, Avery, Ellery, Sky, and Luna; and sister-in-law, Paulette Chapman.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dennis in 2021, and her siblings, Jerry Marty, and Joan Luedtke-Elliott.
