JASON RUTLEDGE HARMON

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Jason Rutledge Harmon, 52, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at his home.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Jason was born on January 27, 1973, in Muscatine, the son of Ron and Peggy Cozad, and Denny Harmon. Jason was employed by Service Master as a janitor.

Jason enjoyed guitars and music, especially Slayer and heavy metal. He loved his Oakley sunglasses, Chick-fil-A, and Mountain Dew. Mostly he loved his family and watching movies at home with Sunny and their cat, August.

Jason is survived by his fiancé, Sunny Stone; sister, Kim (Tom) Whitehair; several half siblings; and aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Bev Cracraft; and his beloved dogs, Bud and Oakley.
