MUSCATINE, IA – Jeffrey Jay Suttles, 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at his home.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Schoepf will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the American Legion.

Jeffrey was born on March 21, 1954, in Iowa, the son of Lloyd and NaDean Jackson Suttles. He married Judy Rector on August 17, 1974, in Muscatine.

In his younger years, Jeffrey enjoyed hunting, fishing, running his dogs, and loved playing pool with his friends. He loved camping and fishing with his father, boating, and embracing the outdoors. He took great pride in his lawn care and enjoyed relaxing in his backyard with friends and family playing music and a fire going and enjoying his ponds. He was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Dominick (Nicole) Suttles and Lea (Josh) Brewer; grandchildren, Trenton Brewer, Alexis Brewer, Talin Brewer, Daccoda Suttles, Trinity Suttles, Dominick Suttles, Korbin Sprott, Kiley Wheeler, and Austin Wheeler; several cousins; and brothers-in-law, Scott Rector and Jerry Rector.

He is preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.
