Jerry ‘Mo’ Morrison

Jerry was born on June 4, 1959 and died on April 7, 2026. He was 66 years old. The Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online Condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com

Jerry’s birth parents were Stretch and Edna Morrison. 

Jerry grew up on a farm in Nichols, Iowa with his adoptive mother, Mae Christian, and siblings Joyce and Connie.  Jerry is survived by Joyce Christian Perkins (John) and Connie Christian Hellenthal as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. 

Jerry graduated from West Liberty High School and was on the wrestling team.   

He worked at Louis Rich for 45 years and took great pride in his work there; he was an outstanding employee.

Jerry’s favorite sports team was the Chicago Bears.  He also enjoyed Iowa basketball and football.  He was a quiet, gentle soul with a sly smile and an appreciation for animals and outdoor activities.

He will be missed.
