MUSCATINE, Iowa – Juanita Louise Dunker, 96, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026.


Celebration of Life will be Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at LIFEchurch Wilton. Tim Imhoff will officiate. The Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com


Juanita was born on June 17, 1929, the daughter of William & Tillie (Luttig) Klebe. She married Clayton Dunker on September 9, 1948 at Calvary Baptist Church in Muscatine.


Juanita worked at West Middle School and was the ultimate farmer’s wife, mother, grandma and great grandma.


Juanita was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church and her  faith was the cornerstone of her life.


Juanita enjoyed gardening, canning, birdwatching and nightly drives to Saulsbury to watch the wildlife. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.


Those left to honor her memory are her children David (Diane) Dunker and Joan Imhoff, grandchildren Mike (Michelle) Dunker, Matt (Kristin) Dunker, Timothy (Debbie) Imhoff, and Shawna Imhoff, great grandchildren Gennings, Rebekah, Caleb, Jacob, Gage, Elijah, Gannon and Eva and a great, great grandchild on the way.


She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband and love of her life for 62 years, Clayton; her sister Sophia Reynolds and son in law Lyle Joe Imhoff.
