MUSCATINE, Iowa – Judy Anna Maas, 75, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Accura Nursing Home.

Judy was born December 07, 1950, in Waterloo, IA, daughter of George A. and Lora Lapp Saul. She married Jim Maas on February 2, 1972, they later divorced.

She worked for Hon Company, as a nurse’s aide at Premier Estates and before retirement she worked at Thatcher’s Plastics. Judy enjoyed Horseback riding, camping, needle printing, and decorating her home.

Those left to honor her memory include her sister Shirley Switzer and her husband John; her niece, Kara Floyd and her husband, Mark and their children, Max and Piper Floyd and her niece Megan Switzer; brother-in-law, Darrell Crieger and his grandchildren Lynnelle, Aaron, Isaiah, Eli, and Zoa.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Georgia Crieger; and nephew George Crieger.
