KIMBERLY ANN (FLETCHER) JAMES

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Kimberly Ann (Fletcher) James, 58, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at her home.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Reverend Andrew Rauenbuehler will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Muscatine Humane Society or Gildas Club. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Kim was born on January 10, 1967, in Muscatine, the daughter of William and Millie Markin Fletcher.

Kim graduated from Muscatine High School in 1985 and received her Masters Degree from Iowa Wesleyan University.  She was one of the organizers of the Amy Meyer Memorial Bike Ride.

Kim was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs fan. She loved her sisters trips, girlfriends trips, having sleepovers and spending quality time with her nieces and nephews. She loved all animals and trips to Vegas. Kim was the life of the party.

Kim is survived by her loving dog, Zoey; father, Bill Fletcher; siblings, Peggy Shield, Lisa (Tom) Sturms, Bill (Teresa) Fletcher, and Mike Fletcher; brother-in-law, Jim McKee; aunt, Betsy Fletcher; uncle, John Bermel; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Kim is preceded in death by her mother, Millie; sister, Christine McKee; brother-in-law, Tom Shield; aunts, Mary Bermel and Linda Furlong; uncle, Roger Fletcher; and grandparents, Clara and Woodrow Fletcher.
