LARRY LEE MILLER
MUSCATINE, Iowa – Larry Lee Miller, 85, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Lutheran Living.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mulford Church, and family encourages flowers to be purchased from Petal and Leaf to help support family friends’ business.
Visitation will also be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, with service to follow, at Mulford Church. Rick Nielsen and Tye Male will officiate. Larry was born on March 23, 1939, in Muscatine, the son of Harold and Lucile G. Ramer Miller. He married Patsy ‘Pat’ Wince on June 17, 1960, in Muscatine.
Larry was a lineman for 38 years at Muscatine Power and Water. He also worked as a Muscabus driver for 12 years.
Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gun shows, car auctions, and spending time with family.
Larry is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters, Lori (Joseph) Wedekind and Melissa (Terry) Thompson; grandchildren, Emilee (Donato) Wedekind-Balualua, Seth Wedekind, James Thompson, Ty (Missy) Thompson, and Tera (Mike) Thompson; great grandchildren, Tyler, Jordin, Landin, Hannah, Gabby, Michael Jr., Hunter, Serene, Cole, Noah, Safiya, Cooper, Logan, and Ella; great great grandchildren, Zelena, Alexis, and Isabella; and brother, Kenneth (Opal) Miller.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Ann; and a brother in infancy.
